John Marshall Catering (JMC) works with the daily market prices and various companies to find the best values on all food items for our company and ultimately for you.
We want to make sure we have all the correct information for your event. Please fill out our contact form, send an e-mail to [email protected] or leave at message at 724-444-1384 requesting service for a specific date. If possible, please also include start time and approximate number of guests. No date is guaranteed until speaking with the office manager. Upon confirmation of availability, a non-refundable but moveable $150 deposit is required on all events except for weddings which are $500, to reserve the date.
No, no party is too large or too small for JMC.
The estimate we provide includes the food items you requested. All dinnerware is available at a small charge.
There is a $35 chaffer rental fee for pickup and delivery. A sales tax of 7% is applied to all events as well as labor charge for full service events. A delivery charge, based on mileage, is applied to drop off events only. If your event requires the use of a grill, a $75 fee will also be applied.
This is an additional charge applied to all full service events only – a server(s) will set-up the food items and will remain at your event for as long as their service is requested. They will replenish the food, gather the trash, serve dessert, and help in any way so you can enjoy your event. This charge is for staffing and is not gratuity. Gratuity is not included, but always appreciated by our staff.

The remaining balance, after the deposit is applied, can be paid on or before the day of the event. The deposit can be paid by cash, check, or credit card.
A certified bartender is available upon request at the rate of $25 per hour with a 5 hour minimum.
Masterpiece is an alternative dinnerware option – though it resembles china in look, it is a less expensive, hard plastic option that many clients use for weddings, rehearsals, graduation, and more. Masterpiece comes in two colors: white with silver trim or ivory with gold trim. This dinnerware option can be paired with matching silver or gold plastic utensils.
JMC works directly with rental companies to acquire any and all items you request. A full ensemble of china, silverware, and stemware costs approximately $5.00/person, while table linens run between $15.00 – $25.00 each depending on length.
